Passionate about architect and design furniture from the second half of 20th century, Romain founded in 2005 the Design Department in auction house in south of France and soon reached the top 10 worldwide in the Design auction sales.

Founder of Cabinet d'expertise Coulet in the prestigious Parisian sixth arrondissement, Romain organize many sales per year for auction houses.

Some of his sales results were world record for the pieces : 1 000 000€ for canapé 'ours polaire ' by Jean Royère, 134 000 € for a lamp by Georges Jouve, 187 000 € for a lounge suite by Le Corbusier, 96 000 € for a compas table by Jean Prouvé, 97 000€ for desk by Charlotte Perriand ...

Romain is dedicated to helping clients in all aspects of collecting. In addition to providing selling and buying opportunities through auction, he broker private sales, offer assistance with appraisals.
